I'm not even done yet. I haven't had dinner. Do these numbers look all right so far? Don't mind the Windows 98 - my computer's broken and I'm on my mom's.

read again, it says 2 servings (unless it counts 1 banana as 2 servings which i think is a lil ridiculous) so it's really like 100 cal a banana.

I know how everyone here hates mens health, so keep the hatred outta here on that aspect. But i read the book, and i found it to be a great read. Letting me know how my body works with particular foods, and at the back of the book, its got a GI count chart which i found extremely helpful. Has anyone tried the 6 week program just to see what the results were?

an "abs diet" cannot exist. You lose fat all over. If you are dieting/in deficit, eventually, the fat on your abs will wear away, period. As well as the rest of your body. edit: I hope ABS isnt an acronym for something completely different making me look like a complete idiot

i was talking less about the "abs diet" than I was about the principles in the book.

superbri007 I did it back in the summer. Overall, all the foods in the abs diet were pretty clean. I liked it alot 5'8 148 was my low point over the summer, and i attribute to it weight lifting, playing frisbee, and trying the ABS diet recently I got up to 170, then now im hangin around 165 well i'm over 20% BF right now (down from 34, however) and was thinking of trying it before summer. Of course i don't expect a six pack anytime this year, but I was looking for a good way to bring the BF% down and read the book and found it very helpful.

Good foods to eat, and how they'll help you lose fat if thats what you're looking for. called abs diet because for men most fat builds around the belly, and its designed to help lose unwanted weight. edit: for some reason i kept typing "loose"

with one of the janitors here at my work. I was kicking it in the lucnh room feeding my face. I told him that i was trying to gain some weight, so I was feeding my face every few hours. he went ahead and told me that if i really wanted to gain weight that i should just eat one huge meal before bed and do lots of low impact bench press I did not argue. i just got up and left

Are there any negative effects on the body from chewing gum? I am wondering about the chemicals that are released from the actual gum that are mixed in with your saliva and eventually swallowed.

My squat sucks balls (lower than my bench press) but that's because I've squatted < 5 times in my life. And in the few times that I have squatted, my max reps (4-5) went up about 100 pounds.. in like a 2.5 week time period. So if I continued to squat, I am sure that it would be above my bench in no time.

squats are fun....so unless you want chicken legs there is no reason to not do them

Its probably more that your body isnt used to the movement rather than your legs arent as stong as your chest. If you keep doing it your numbers should go up.

That's not that bad, I've seen people load up the leg press with 700lbs rep that and can't squat 225 parallel. I've always had strong legs but I recently partially tore my patellar tendon squatting 405.

When you read all the debates and all sorts of studies and shit, you realize how much of this stuff has been known for so long. People just keep rehashing the same shit over and over and try to make different theories and stuff, but it all boils down to tried and true stuff from a long time ago.
