During the ECY stack I had no concerns with [testing my rats with] CEE. Now that Ive moved [my rats] on to slightly more potent agents, I would rather not risk dehydration or the other assumed risks in the combo. Is is safe or should I hold out on [feeding my rats] the CEE till after the cycle? ib4flames.

i'm no pro, but dont creatine and clen do opposite things? i thought creatine helped retain water, and clen helped get rid of it?

not that this has to do with your question but i find this story of clen very alarming and interesting. Ack what a nightmare. 1 gram Clenbuterol was obtained, later it was measured and dissolved into water to make the proper amount ratio per ml. But looky here: Some clenbuterol, what seemed to be very little stayed on the tool which was used to move the clenbuterol from one container to another. Hey there (I thought in stuper), why dont I taste the remain and see what happens. (Can you think of something more ingeniues?--looking back, it was one of my most stupid and dangerous decisions of my life) Apparently an amount of approximately 5 - 8 miligram of clenbuterol was sublingually ingested, possibly more. (normal dose is at the microgram area), for those who dont know Clenbuterol is active at even 100 mcg. with the ~5000-8000 mcg that was ingested, some 50-80 times stronger the active dose, some unwanted effects might occur if you plan to live a healthy life, dont mistake where I have. T+30: Strange feeling, as if consciousness had changed, but not similiar to anything I ever felt. T+1h: Feeling somewhat better than normal (if only I would know what was ahead of me....) Is this clenbuterol i thought? T+2h: Heart rate is higher, but not alarming. T+3h: Eyes are open wide, and face is feeling stretched, something is building up, and fast. T+4h: Eyeballs seem to receive some greenish color besides the normal white... and quite amount of axienty had built up, dizzyness and nausea, but somewhat consciousness enhancement, certainly not a good time. T+5h: feeling quite ill, heart begins to speed up, and for the next 24 hours the heart rate stays at a steady alarming 125-135 beats per minute (WHILE LYING DOWN WITH HEAD ON PILLOW), i could hear my heart with my ear as the vains in my head and the entire body are all swallen up and beating, I can feel the blood pumping intensively, and I feel as I am ready to explode. My girlfriend urges me to get an ambulance, but I disagree, hoping its going to be fine and reassuring her i'm 'okayyyy.' My entire body was dancing to the beats of my heart; and it was the worst tune you could ever imagine. T+6h: From here on after for the next 18 hours, intense pressure in my head and limbs had built up, eyes got more wide open, and skin more stretched. T+12h: It feels as if my heart cant take it anymore as i feel it loosens in some fraile way, and begins to irregularly beat, which is extremely uncomfortable, and quite dangerous. T+13h: I get dehydrated rather easily, and my tempeature is 38 degrees celceus. T+15h: for the past hour the tempeature has risen +1 degree. I am now considering the ambulance theory (in my head), as I feel I cant take much more of this. T+16h: The pressure in the head is unbearable and keeps on increasing, the pain arises as if the skull pressures the brain and there is a psychological feeling as if brain fluid is frying the brain, from the temperature T+17h: A cold shower really helped ... ALOT. T+19h: Another shower helped. T+20h: I'm quite tired and exhusted, but in agonizing head pain fearing taking any sedatives since i dont know what interacts with this and how; i take 750mg Paracetamol. T+21h: Feeling a bit better, but still -- headache is anguishing, I am utterly exhusted and afraid to fall asleep, although possibly, i can. T+24h: Heart rate down to 120 per minute, and tempeature had decreased by two degrees the past two hours, a nice opportunity to get some sleep T+32h: Woke up.... (Thank God, I'm alive!) heart rate is still at a steady 120 beats per minute while lying down #!$#!$#!$!% T+42h: heart rate down to a steady 105 beats per minute t+70h: 65 beats per minute, lying down. For the following week, intense vain, skin, and eye pain was felt, besides the utter exhustion and the sharp pain in the center of the head. Thank God, For He saved me from my stupidity That only my faith kept me going, thougout this living nightmare. There were many side effects during the experience, of pseudohallucenogenic nature: closed and open eye visual effects, very hard stimulation; food was tasteless and meaningless, and would result in vomiting; nothing could be drank besides water, or heartburn would occur, and it did, from drinking Cola, alone. Increased sweating, and increased resperation, hard amphetamiine-like jitterness which lasted throughout the entire horryfing experience, highly-extremely increased metabolic rate, tempeature changes, general change in consciousness, ear popping, and some more things. Overall, This was my first experience with this pseudosteroidical substance, which i didnt take seriously, and i paid the price, and i'm lucky i'm alive to report it. Dont be stupid. If you cant measure something properly, and or not sure of its potency - DO NOT DO IT: as tempting or curiousing as it may be, you might not be as lucky as I was. What a nightmare Thank God its over. for your rats sake ;x

My rats take it in 20mcg tab form. Not much risk of overdose there. They are at 80mcg today. While in the most general sense they would appear to have opposing impacts, but on a cellular level they have little to do with eachother. My rats are drinking a 1.5-2 gallons of water per day so I think most of the risk is mitigated, but I want to be sure.

IMHO i think that you wont look as good as if you did creatine for like 4 weeks and then ran your clen because w/ clen you are trying to lose bf and look shredded and depending on how you respond to creatine you might have water retention leaving you slightly bloated. cliffsne makes you bigger, the other makes you smaller, so run the big then the small

The first few days were crazy. It wasnt the big muscles... just the lil ones. Id be sitting still for a while and my entire back would cramp up. Or my hands or toes.... ect. I was fine today.

fat loss concerns

fat loss concerns


does a diet and excercise break down fat before you lose it? I'm on week 4 of my diet and excercise. I've been eating good and everything except for the morning. I usually just eat a banana or something light since I'm not hungry in the morning. for lunch I have a tuna sandwhich and for dinner a chicken breast or some more tuna. not soda or junk food at all. I do cardio twice a day. once before lunch and once at night. 15 minutes a piece. Now the thing, I notice my pants fit looser but my love handles are starting to hang more then before . is this normal? Its not all the time, only sometimes. Is it in my head or something? also, I haven't felt this good in a long time. oh and I do the cardio 5 days a week. also, I notice I get full very quick. is this normal also? Like I can't even eat much even if I wanted to.

haha yeah I read all the stickies. just doing cardio. The thing is though, I guess I got use to not eating alot and get sick if I eat too much. What about the breaking down of fat? or is it in my head that my love handles hang more :O

you don't lose fat everywhere at the same time...

In my experience the fat gets soft and loose as you lose it, so yeah, your love handles could be hanging down more. If what you are doing works than keep doing it though some weight lifting would be good to add to your routine.

Shouldnt be too hard, just have like a spoonful of natty peanut butter or an extra 2 or 3 eggs.

I used to think the same thing where I would do only cardio and trust me when I say that lifting is so much better then cardio. If you only lift you will lose jsut as much if not more weight then if doing only cardio and you will gain strength and some muscle as well. Lift now or you will regret it later.

Lift now or you will regret it later. i agree. it sounds like you're in a severe calorie deficit. what you'll end up doing is losing a ton of weight, but still being flabby. its cause you're burning muscle, probably more than fat. i made the same mistake 2 years ago, i ended up being skinny as hell, but not cut at all. you should be doing what the rest of us "cutting" guys are. eat about 1900-2000 calories (depending on body weight) split up into 6 meals. keep protien intake at atleast 1g per lb of body weight (to help retain muscle) and eat clean otherwise. you probably dont need cardio 10x a week either, maybe do cardio 3x a week and a solid 3 day weight training split (workout 3x a week). otherwise i just dont think you'll be happy with your results, and it will just take you longer to reach what you think you should look like. this is all coming from personal experience.

WTF Acupuncture...

WTF Acupuncture...


Whats up. Well, heres the story. Last week I tried to do box squatting, and I will still trying to get comfortable with it. After doing it with low weight, I put on 315, as that is my usual first set (after warming up a bit with 225) I come down tap the seat, and go up...next rep, i come down a bit too fast and end up sitting on the box, but i can't get it back up. So I rest for a moment, and end up straining myself and trying to adjust my footing to get a better position to stand up with the weight. I get it up. However, I end up feeling this sharp pain around my mid-lower back around the spine. CRAPP. my first squatting injury. Whatever, I made the mistake of doing another few sets with lighter weight. After I woke up, my back was killing me. Sharp pains whenever I moved the wrong way...I decided to take it easy for the next few days and not do anything that strains my back. So it was a week since the incident, last night. I was eager to try squatting again. Warmed up 225, no problem. put on 315, got it off the rack no problem, got ready to go down, and suddenly i felt a tiny shift in that same spot on my spine. Hurt like a betch. Racked the BB, and got off. Ended up doing Bench/Shoulder/Tri last night. Woke up, I could barely get out of bed. Didn't go to school, and I'm stranded at home. Now, my mom wants to take me to get acupuncture. WTF, I never believed in that oriental medicine crap. Acupuncture is supposed to release Chi? Uh, Chi only reminds me of Naruto and chakra or something. I dunno, I think they're going to put needles in my back and draw some blood. My mom got it done to her shoulder last week and she said it helped. BS. I would rather get x-rays done to make sure everything is okay. Either that, or I could wait another two weeks to make sure it heals up . I know I made some bad decisions in trying to put up that much weight with box squats initialy, and trying to squat again after a week of injury. But thats besides the point. What do you guys think of acupuncture? Is it legit? Does it work? I find it hard to believe that a few pokes with some long needles will help my spine heal. Also, do you guys have any other suggestions or comments? I'm ready for flames for my stupidity, thats understood. Acupuncture basically made all my knee pain go away....the needles really aren't bad at all, they aren't thick like drug needles. Go for it...

dont be afraid of the needles. u wont feel a thing and u probably wont see them either if its on ur back so that shouldn't be a concern. its worth a shot i say. but your best bet to heal is probably just resting for a few weeks. i doubt an xray shows anything abnormal but get one of those two if you've got insurance just to be sure.

superbri007 I just got it today, and I love it, its relaxing. The best part about it is just laying there for 20 mins in a silent room stairing at the ceiling. The needles don't hurt really, unless they put it in a little too far geez. in 9th grade i had to get my immunizations for highschool and football. i nearly passed out after 2 shots...and this was after trying to pretend like i was all cool about it. at least i'm not diabetic like my aunt who takes 7 shots of insulin a day.

superbri007 dude, give it 2 weeks, rest yourself, stretch out, don't lift anything heavy, get some accupuncture, but also get chiropractic re-alignment first!. I go every monday for 10-30 mins or so. get my back aligned, then get accupuncture for sinus's and wherever I'm getting spasms from lifting, etc. wtf realignment? i hope nothing is out of place.

superbri007 then just don't look at the needles, and the likelihood of you passing out while lying on yoru stomach or back is 0 to none lol. try it out man, its really cool, and doesn't hurt a bit! the needles are so tiny you don't feel them really haha i was kinda exaggerating about my fear of needles. i'm not scared, i just dont wanna waste my time putting needles in my back when i dont know if it'll do anything. but the 9th grade thing is a true story.

Came back from it not too long ago. All he did was ask me what happened, and before i finished explaining he said "okay, get on the bed" (in korean) he started poking the general area with his fingers, made a fist and pushed extremely hard. f'in hurt. he's like "okay, its a dam" meaning a stress cramp? so he gets this pen like jig, and starts poking holes in my back...and doesn't stop. it must've been literally 100 holes. then he puts these glass cups on my back and uses this manual vacuum to pump out the air. so after waiting 10 minutes, he comes back and releases the cups and wipes away all the blood, which felt like it was a lot. result? i don't really feel any better. he says it will after a day or two, and he wants me to come back tomorrow. looks really ugly too. (you're not seeing things, my right lat is bigger than my left lat. )

I don't think you should ever sit back down on the box if you can't get it up. Just drop the weight if you're forced to sit back down. I think I even remember christophers saying this.

superbri007 i've never seen that approach, i'll ask my chiro. you sure your guy didn't get his Accupuncture certification from a crack jack box? nonetheless, cool, you need to go back for a followup too followup? dam. he's supposedly famous among northern virginian koreans for really helping them out. my mom got the same thing done last week b/c her shoulder was killing her...she says she feels fine now.

Whats up F&N. From the Art & Photography forum I was trolling... willg133 and damn i was almost expecting something from OT...you know what the nicest forum on here is? the fitness forum with all the meatheads....not what you would expect but its the truth...go cook up some noodle soup for yourself haha, thought that was funny. anyways. I posted up the picture of my back with the dam hickeys on it from the acupuncture and acupressure garbage after I hurt my back about two weeks ago. I couldn't walk without pain for a few days, and finally I can move around without feeling any pain. There is still a bit of discomfort when I move my body into certain positions, but for the most part I'm okay now. I stopped lifting for the past two weeks (parents grounded me from going to the gym). I still kept an okay diet, but it seems like I've gained back a bit of water weight from not doing my 45 minutes of cardio as I was used to, 4-5 times a week. Starting today, I'm gonna go to the gym and see how things feel. I'm gonna take another week or two off from squat/dead to make sure things are healed up. I hurt it really bad because about 3 weeks ago, I had a minor back injury, then tried to do squatting as normal a week later, totally screwing over my back. I dont wanna make the same mistake again. Oh and trust me, I'm so anxious to get back to do squats. I'm so eager I flex my quads at home thinking "dam im losing too much muscle" When I get the chance, I'll put up some progress pics. In Feb I used to be around 227. about 3 months later, now, i'm about 215, with most of my muscle still there. Now that I lost a bit of fat, my disproportionality of my left and right lat is much more apparant. also, i can see a "sex" muscle developing on my right side of the body, but not my left. weird. Its good to be going back. Now that I think of it, I'm gonna head out to my gym now.

i've been off for about a month now cause of my work schedule, but i can't wait to get started again next week

A question about routines...


Is it better to hit 1 or 2 main muscle groups a day, or shoud I mix it up a little bit more (Do a little bit of each every workout day.) I'm attempting to put together my first routine by myself: Day1 Arms/Delts/Upper Chest Seated curl Tri extension/skull crusher Bench Press Dumbell Fly Behind neck press Reverse Curl Day2 Lower abdomen/Back Bent over row/lying row (barbell) Shrug Chin ups/Pull ups Push ups/Sit ups 8 minute abs ( ) Day3 Legs/Compound movements Squats Deadlifts Calf raises I'm obviously open to any advice. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing so any help is appreciated. My main goal is to change body composition and hopefully maintain my weight (6'5" 225 lbs) if not lose a little. I'll figure out my sets and reps throughout this week to see what works best.

The routine seems pretty beneficial. Just what you'd expect, really. The guy shows different ways to do crunches to hit most/all of your abdominals. I have the avi if you want.

if you do squats and dl on the same day, you will have difficulty walking for a while... split those up Move deads to back day, ditch the pushups and situps, and move the shoulder stuff to legs

I tried them last week and I think I might use them for a while to switch things up. Difficult, to say the least.

D. Ahrens Press Chuck Ahrens is relatively unknown to most modern trainees, but in his time he was considered to have the strongest shoulders and arms in the world. He was so wide he looked unreal! In his prime, Ahrens could do reps with 200 pound dumbbells in the shoulder press (some people even claim to have seen him press a 300 pound dumbbell with one arm), perform 28 reps with 405 in the bench press, and perform a slow and controlled concentration curl with a 115 pound barbell. One of his shoulder exercises was very peculiar: he'd do overhead dumbbell presses, but instead of pressing them straight up he'd press them up and away laterally (basically doing a "V" with both arms). He had no choice but to press in this matter because he used special loadable dumbbells that were very long; pressing them straight up was thus impossible without the bells hitting each other. What this exercise does is place the shoulders, especially the medial portion of the deltoid, under greater tension as the movement gets completed.

Hell I don't know but I seriously doubt someone who benched 405 for 28 reps and DB shoulder pressed 300 would only curl 115 with a barbell.

I've done them quite a bit before i cut down on how much overhead pressing I do. I liked them a lot.
