Designer Whey and cutting FAT

Designer Whey and cutting FAT

Just wondering if something like Designer Whey would be ok to take after weight training workouts. I'm trying to cut fat plus build muscle, so I have my cardio and weight days....would whey protein be ok after my weight workouts? thanks

Why wouldnt it? Would you ask the same about eating a piece of chicken after a work out?

yes, but cutting fat and building muscle is not going to happen. You'll have to pick one.

Chris3G yes, but cutting fat and building muscle is not going to happen. You'll have to pick one. so you're saying the informationin 'christophers' sticky threads are false? i'm not trying to become a body builder here.

eliktronix so you're saying the informationin 'christophers' sticky threads are false? i'm not trying to become a body builder here. show me where christophers has EVER said you can cut fat and build muscle at the same time, unless you are complelely new to lifting and working out, or on steroids.

Chris3G show me where christophers has EVER said you can cut fat and build muscle at the same time, unless you are complelely new to lifting and working out, or on steroids. Those are the only ways that can be accomplished.

eliktronix so you're saying the informationin 'christophers' sticky threads are false? i'm not trying to become a body builder here. its more about maintaining lbm through lifting and a little more calorie usage through epoc. no one said not to lift weights though.

christophers i am getting annoyed at the ever so increasing suggestions to lose fat first through aerobic exercise and THEN begin weight training. this is so backwards. so. very. backwards. high intensity weight lifting will: build muscle mass build strength increase fat loss improve metabolism make you look a fuck of a lot better than waiting until you're done losing fat will. just following what he said since his advice has worked for me so far and yes i'm still new to a lot of this

how to become a pt?

how to become a pt?

Ive thought of becoming a personal trainer next year or the year after so I could get a nice summer job or something. What exactly does it take to become a personal trainer?

lack of ambition

lol

i have also been wondering something similar, im thinking about studying kinesiology as either my minor or as a double major, what kind of promising good jobs are there for someone interested in this feild? i really dont know alot about that, any help?

steel cut oats

knowing how to recommend circuit training and doing every exercise with a swiss ball

simply post on OT with uneducated stupid comments, then you'll be like pt

All the male pt's are some of the most out of shape people I've seen at my gym. 40" waists, flab, double chins - it always makes me wonder who is willing to pay $67/hour to get training from these people. They may "know" how to train, but if they are too lazy to have a decent body themselves, they are worthless to me.

I love reading that story

best story ever.

good stuff...

christophers what story is the one when timmy comes to the compound?

shastaisforwinners you suck at reading comprehension

Jeg1983 what story is the one when timmy comes to the compound? http://www.elitefts.com/documents/sick_of_your_gym6.htm

good read, although most PT's wouldn't do it

While our verbal efforts of "Stay tight" were obviously unsuccessful, Jim found a much brasher but effective way for Timmy to stay tight throughout the lift. As Timmy gripped the bar awaiting his hand-off, Jim took the two board and smashed it across Timmy's chest. So much so that Timmy's hands left the bar, curled up and began hugging his sternum. Timmy began wheezing and it was obvious that he didn't want us to know that he had gotten the wind knocked out of him. After about 30 seconds, he was about to take the weight off the bar when Jim told him to stop. Jim lifted the board and made the motion as if to hit him again and Timmy froze and began wincing. Jim stopped short and said; "See how tight you are now? Feel how tense your muscles are now that you are expecting to get hit? That's how every set and every rep has to be. You came here to learn how to bench press and if you can't handle the methods then don't expect results." Timmy finally got it, and did not have a problem the rest of the workout. This is how everyone should learn how to stay tight under the bench.

seems needlessly cruel

http://www.thephatphree.com/features...StoryYear=2005 Posted: 4/15/2005 by: Chad Zumock I can't wait to workout today! I'm going to do Chest & Biceps, actually I think I'll do Tris and Lats, or maybe Legs and Abs. Fuck it! I'm lifting everything! I'll do 16 sets of everything today. It doesn't matter. I love weights! I fucking love lifting them! I love the gym; I'm probably going to stay here for six hours today because I love working out so much! Alright time to get busy. I'm going to make incredibly obnoxious noises so the whole entire gym knows I'm lifting heavy weights. I can bench press 350 lbs. I can squat 500 lbs. Everyone will know this before I leave the gym today. Jesus, my tan looks great under these lights! I think I'll step it up to four times a week and a couple extra minutes in the bed. I tan naked! I'm so tan everywhere! I love being tan! I love protein shakes more than anything in life! I drink 50 protein shakes a day. I'm drinking one right now. I want to shit protein! I fucking love this shit! Is that a mirror? I'll look in it from the corner of eye so no one knows I'm looking at myself. God, I wish I could look dead-on at myself right now because I look that fucking good! LOOK AT MY BICEPS! They look so huge today. I know other people are looking at them, and I'll just let them look. I don't blame them one bit. My arms are enormous! Shit! My batteries in my CD player are running low. Fuck! How am I supposed to listen to my Korn CD? How am I going to get pumped up without it? Damn, my arms look huge today! Check out that chick. She fucking wants me. You can tell. I don't blame her. I look great! . She wants to touch these ARMS! I will let her touch them if she asks nicely. My penis is so small. It doesn't really matter, I'm so 'cut' everywhere else. My chest and my arms are ripped! Besides, my penis gets a little bigger when it's hard. It doesn't matter, I'm HUGE everywhere else. JUST LOOK AT THESE BICEPS! I need a more supplements RIGHT NOW!! I'm going to GNC after the gym and I'm going to spend $800 on bullshit pills with this shitty gold card that proves I go to GNC. I'm going to buy Amino Acids, and everything else just to buy it! I just want to spend my money there so bad! I think I'm done working out for the day. I could work out all day if I wanted too, but my HUGE muscles need to rest. I feel so swoll! I'm going to go get another protein shake. It helps my muscle recovery. I love protein so much! God, my penis is so small.

wtf?

im so offended, im never working out again

Ex Fatty Crew! Need some advice!

Ex Fatty Crew! Need some advice!

Ok so here is my deal. Former fatty, 255-190.. cutting till 180 or lower depending on how I look.. no less than 165 though, and I am not sure where to go with all this next. Ideally I will most likely get down to my original goal weight of 180 within the next few weeks and then decide if I want to maintain or go lower. The way things are looking I don't think I'll be happy at 180 so I'll most likely keep cutting till 165 or so. After that I guess I'll maintain and then come fall bulk. I want to bulk up to like 180 (if i go down to 165) and then cut again. Now here is my question. Did you guys find it hard to judge your progress when bulking, intentionally, for the first time after a long cut? How long did you wait? I am worried that I'm gonna start to see a gain in weight but not much of a gain when it comes to muscle mass and strength. Any advice? IBMANUPANDSTOPBEINGABITCH!

Only thing about being ex-fat and then bulking that I am concerned about is gauging progress properly. Its hard with loose skin. :-| Not having a flat stomach but being able to see your ribs and 4 abs = lose.

I used to weigh 260. I cutt down to 168 about 2-1/2yrs ago. I bulk in the winter months and start to cutt for summer around February-May, generally about 12-16 weeks. This gives me pleanty of time to get lean for spring/summer. It's not hard if you get over the subconcious feeling that you are going to get fat again. Check your BF% through the bulking process to make sure you are gaining good mass. Just eat clean and carry the discipline it took to lose over to gaining quality mass.

Deezgst - how tall are you? How did you look at 168?

Ate a sandwich on white bread instead of my regular 8-different-oats whole wheat bread. I was just getting entirely tired of how that bread tastes so I just wanted a little change. Plus I haven't eaten a single piece of white bread in about two months. Anyway, it didn't even taste like bread . I think I'm going to be sick.

I personally prefer wheat bread because it's what I've been eating my whole life but plain white bread is the shit too.

thanks for the info

Weekend after starting a physically demanding job

Weekend after starting a physically demanding job

I started a job on Tuesday that is both technical in some respects, but physical in others. I'm part of a project to stage 3,000 PCs for deployment, and I spend my days surrounded by HP boxes and lifting PCs from one area to the next. This is my first physically demanding job, and today (Saturday) I had trouble bringing up a small load of laundry from the basement. At work, when I lift PCs off the floor, I lift with my legs, but taking a PC off the workbench to put back into the box, I have to lift from the waist. Should my nutrition requirements be changing? (keep in mind, I have no fridge at work) Any suggestions to keep from blowing my lower back out?

wtfcopycatname

omgz i only clicked on your post cuz i thought it was THE timberwolf... now that click is gone forevar

superbri007 your weak attitude reminds me of michael jackson's frail body man up wigger

get enough sleep.

superbri007 you could wear a belt for support, you often see workers at home depots wearing them all day, its a great idea, makes you stand upstraight and takes pressure off your abs and back muscles A belt would be good except for the fact that I have to wedge myself into some pretty tight spaces in order for me to get all the cables set up right

Damnit. Change your name.
