Type of training

Type of training

Generally, what is the most common type of training done in this forum? From what I see it seems like everyone is more concerend about the asthetic features of lifting (i.e. bodybuilding) rather than training to get stronger via a powerlifting approach.

eat big lift big training

From what I see it seems like everyone is more concerend about the asthetic features of lifting (i.e. bodybuilding) rather than training to get stronger via a powerlifting approach. obviously you are not looking very hard then there are more competative powerlifters on this board than there are competative bbers

theres one competing BB'er surrounded by many powerlifters, although the BB'er is stronger mauahahahahah

PurEvl theres one competing BB'er surrounded by many powerlifters, although the BB'er is stronger mauahahahahah give me time

i can't think of many powerlifters on here

Ceaze i can't think of many powerlifters on here there's like 5 or so here

Jeg1983 there's like 5 or so here who has competed?

The type of training that will help an ugly man bang hot bitches.

Ceaze who has competed? Chris, me, grouch, there is like more that post here not so often

Jeg1983 give me time i know your coming along rather quickly while im falling apart

Jeg1983 obviously you are not looking very hard then there are more competative powerlifters on this board than there are competative bbers yeah but those are only 2 categories, what about the average joes that just wanna look good. I guess that would be under BBer category but not at a 'competative' level - but in that case, that type of training is the most popular.

From what I see it seems like everyone is more concerend about the asthetic features of lifting (i.e. bodybuilding) rather than training to get stronger via a powerlifting approach. i train for everything.. i first started out with traditional weight lifiting. just pure weights and nothing else, not even cardio, no warm up, no cool down, no stretching, not paying attention to my diet, etc, etc. i was super fit (6 pack) still but that was because i was young! hhhahaa you can get away with anything and still can be fit as hell when you are young.. but things have changed and so as my body.. metabolism has slown down, started to see other importance of being fit and healthy rather than just for the looks. i do cardio: jogging, walking, swimming, dancing, lifefitness, precore, biking, hiking, kickboxing, anything and everything, the more selection i have the better its gonna be.. i do stretching exercises for flexibility. i do tons of functional training, balance and stability, core conditioning and strengthening, and of course, free weights.. i don't like the machines and i rarely use them.. but they are good of course if you are a beginner.

Would cornstarch have a low glycemic index? Comparable to that of steel cut oats? In 1 cup of corn starch there is 117 g of carbs (1 g of fiber and 0 g of sugar) with 0 g of fat and 0 g of protein. Thank you.

I'd like to announce that I have closed the Captain of Crunk #2's. But damn is it hard. And I'd like to thank... My real life n***** Nukegoat, cazzone, eligh and aznboi320. All the brolys here on F&N, cavefish, ceaze, pt, christophers, Gogz, Purevl, for their knowledge King, because he is shaped like me, Werdna and Immortal for the flame wars and the personal threats, Noxen for his inspiration, Junno for his horribly annoying aim buddy icon. CiP, UncleJohn, Timberwolf, SteveO and Acura TL-S because they are buff and I'm jealous and hate them, trancezj even though Im not OG enough to be a true broly. Ilyusha, tize, superbri007, vettedude and the rest of the good noobs that make me feel buff and smart. So what have I learned from OT F&N? Hit hard and hit first. m1t cures everything from cancer to vaginitis. Push ups are the best exersize ever. Steal Cut Oats > * Immortal thinks I'm fat. Some people look damn good with hotdog arms. Saying "lightweight" before every max out is like sticking a Type R sticker on your Honda. Don't say anything about anything if you can't take a penny picture. Here is my memory of OT F&N in pictrue form.

Squatted yesterday

Squatted yesterday

for the first time since high school. 1st day of my "Christopher's Base" workout too. today -> Squats-5x5 Deadlifts-5x5 Bench Press-5x5 Incline DB Press-2x12

How much did you do each lift for?

When I go out and squat for the first time in a while, I don't worry about sets. Just put on like 135 and make sure that you are doing them properly.

Elfling How much did you do each lift for? Bench (dumbells) 65's Deads 255 Squat 225 I'm sure I'll get it up to a respectable level soon. I went somewhat light because it was my first day doing them in 4 years.

Looks perfectly respectable to me Good job!

Bought $200 worth of food today

Ive begun a summer bulking session. I want to gain ~20 pounds before I move to london in 6 months egg whites, cottage cheese, chicken breasts galore, brown rice, whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta, ground beef, fish, endless fruit/veges, cheeses, natural peanut butter, rolled oats... the usual suspects (Im 6'2 170, , 190 be my goal)

Goddamn... 200 bucks on one visit? I maybe spend that in a month and I eat a crap load.

ugh, that food dont sound fun...

Sounds like my diet except the cottage cheese. I just made a huge batch of of brown rice, mixed in some terraki chicken and veggies :YUM:
