Got there and started doing flat bench db press, and my left elbow starting acting up. It was a slight pain that I get sometimes when I lift. I kept lifting through the pain, but then it got really bad at my 4th set. I couldn't work through it any longer it was throbbing so bad. So I went to just go do some cardio, and it started throbbing even worse, I said fuck it and came home. So here I am sitting here with my throbbing elbow and a failed day at the gym. cliffs: did 4 sets, elbow in serious pain, did cardio, more pain, came home.

I hate when you have days like that, all pumped and ready to go, then some weird pain happens and the day is shot

oatmeal is pretty high in fat. I reckon that's the only reason it's low G.I. as it's pretty common fact that fat slows down the absorbation of a meal

just switch over to steel cut oats, stuff is pretty good. A different texture and flavor compared to Quakers Rolled Oats. Only problem is, I made it for the first time yesterday and it blew up in the microwave. I shit you not.

I was in one of our squat racks doing some exercises and this Asian guy about my age who was probably around 5'6", probably 130lbs was next to me in the other one. To make a long story short he went through his squat routine and got up to 335. He did 335 x 4 before he quit and then started doing some GMs. If I was to look at the guy I wouldn't even guess he could squat that much weight. He didn't look too muscular and his legs weren't all that big. He did have knee wraps and those weightlifting shoes on, though. I think he popped some Animal Paks before he started working out. Cliffs: Small Asian guys are strong.

asian dude is the only other one ive seen at the gym squatting more than two 45s. His gf went up to ~100, she was hawt. All the other guys, white, black, whatever seem to just do squats for cardio or something

I really don't think asians are naturally strong. I don't think many small people in general are naturally real strong. They surely worked on it for years and years When I started out I couldn't lift shit, but after two years the gains are steady and strong. People go when they see me shoulder press 70-75 lb dumbbells. Still working hard at benching 100 lb dumbbells though I'm still a newbie at lifting, but my goal is to be deceivingly strong...it keeps me going since i've been pretty weak before I started lifting

I know this is slightly off-topic, but I'm wondering is there any link between what you eat and having oily skin? I need to wash my face 2/3 times a day because it sometimes tends to get quite oily. I don't take any medication or use any creams for it. I'm just wondering though, does what I eat effect how oily my skin may get? Any link between junk food or oily food.. and oily skin?

Two proven things I know help. Hydrate, & use a non-oily lotion w/ no fragrance. Because oily skin will secrete more when you overdry it. You don't want to irritate it with fragrances and garbage ingredients. Assuming you're a guy, I don't know if you'd go for this, but they now make these little packs of oil absorbing sheets that'd fit in your pocket. If you're worried about appearance. Clean, & clear makes some, they come in a blue packet. (not super girlie)
