I started this new job about 3 months ago and just tried to keep a quiet cool attitude and not really discuss my outside interests too much because I really am more of a quiet person... anyways...the pregnant woman openly asked me about diet tips and exercises she can do to help with her pregnancy and weight gain. So...there were 6 girls around when they heard this..and the one girl asked me if I was a PT or certified or something. I said just "no" and the other girl stood up and said I am a bodybuilder. So thats all they needed to hear when they came around and started firing off all types of questions about weight loss and even weight gain. So I'm just spinning my head about all this and don't know who's talking about what. so shit I told them if they wanted 'personal attention' to talk to me later about it too bad I don't run this as a business...I'd clean up

christophers i play PT for a lot of people and dont ask anything for it. for some reason i just like helping people. although i get stuff for it all the tme, including money. i'm not going to say no. 4 tubs of muscle milk + 150$ came today from someone i helped lose 25 lb's and get to 8% i actually woulda rather just had cash instead of that muscle milk but oh well thats rather generous. Most of the time my advice isn't taken...so they keep comin back. they don't want to hear dieting isn't easy and they actually have to work at it for a while before they see results. I don't mind. I like talking about it and helping them. THey aren't hurting me any by not listening so whatever

I'm looking at some protein shakes/drinks, which would serve a better purpose?


100% Whey http://www.1fast400.com/?products_id=63 OR Whey protein shake http://www.1fast400.com/?products_id=1332 i'm gonna just be carrying a few water bottles filled with this stuff and drinking it throughout the day. do they taste like shit or does it gorw on you eventually?

after a while it just becomes routine

so which one do you suggest?

and you should be taking these shakes while bulking and cutting, right?

it's for my mother primarily. i think she's leaning towards getting a stationary bike but i have no idea what's good or bad out there. what should we look for? anyone have a particular model they like?

you burn more cals on a treadmill. so that's what i would get. I would also go to sears and look at the nordictraks if shes wanting to run or the proform if shes just wanting to walk. They have an awesome selection out this year...not too pricey..and if you get the models with the proform shox on it..it's easy on your joints and feet. They offer a replacement warranty type thing as well...it's awesome. It's for 5 years I believe..and if ANYTHING goes wrong with it...even commetic wise (ie, buttons are starting to wear off) they will come out to YOUR house (no having to bring it back in) and fix it. Also if it breaks 3 times in a year, they will replace the whole machine and lemon it.

If you dont want shin splints i suggest you get a bike. Get a bike with serveral options of resistence and strech your quads before you get on and your all set to go.

what about an elliptical machine?

Stationary bikes are a little different, but if you want a treadmill, you can't go cheap. Cheap treadmills have crappy speed adjustments and data centers and the belt will quickly begin to slip which makes it all but impossible to run.

what up.... Ok I've been reading a lot about both fish and flaxseed... their benefits and what not. It goes back and forth saying flax is better...and fish is better... In your experience's what do you like better fish or flax... both health and cutting results.

hey guys, i'm 22, 5'7" and at 140lbs, i've never really done any weight training but i would really like to start...i'm kinda in shape at the moment, i like to run a lot, i do anywhere from 10-15 miles a week...i know it's a long shot but i'm kinda hoping to have the build of a running back or something close... also, what kind of supplements are good for someone starting out? i'm a full time college student so I can't always eat healthy (or eat at all ) thanks guys!

If you have access to resistance bands and someone to help you, you can do that as well. That's for the running part, I'll let someone more knowledgable on the weights advise you there.
